Call For 2023 National Executive CCI Nominations

Attention All CCI Members: CCI National is seeking individuals who have the desire to take a volunteer leadership role within the Canadian Condominium Institute. 

The Bylaws were recently changed and there are 4 positions open for election each year, each for a two-year term. At the first executive meeting after the election, the Board will then select from the 8 board members the Officers (President, Vice-President, and Secretary/Treasurer), for the year. The Board will also select a Chair from the individuals that have sat as past President of the Board to serve in a non-voting Chair position for the year.

Eligibility:

All current members of CCI are eligible for election to the National Executive. 

Renumeration:

The Board of Directors and Officer positions at CCI National are all non-paid, volunteer positions.

Thursday, August 31, 2023, 5 pm Eastern Time EDT

Process:

In accordance with current National Bylaw, the Nominations Committee may develop a proposed slate and recommend that the proposed slate be presented for approval or rejection by the members at the Annual General Meeting. This process was included to try to ensure regional representation on the Board to best represent all our members across the country. Where possible, the Nominations Committee will submit all eligible candidates for nomination by the members. 

The Nominations Committee will meet after the deadline to review the nominations, to confirm eligibility and assess regional representation. All candidates will be contacted by late September and those individuals who will put forward for election will be asked to submit a short biography, photo, and a video promo for circulation to the members to vote electronically before the CCI-N AGM.
