Reduce the Risk of Slips/Falls
From the CCI Manitoba Winter 2025 Condominium News and Views Magazine
Our winter weather is becoming much more variable because of climate change. With repeated freezethaw cycles and more freezing rain and drizzle, the risk of slip-fall injuries on condominium common elements is ever increasing. Condo owners who can’t escape south probably will start complaining about the weather and slippery conditions on roads, sidewalks and parking lots. More importantly, condominium directors need to be diligent and work with their property manager and/or their snow contractors to minimize the risks.
We’ve run a number of articles in the past related to snow removal, winter slip-and-fall prevention and ice management. Rather than repeating the information here, we can redirect you to our Newsletter Article Library (aka Magazine), where you can easily find this type of information. No login is required.
