Condo Profile: Revisited

From the Summer 2026 issue of CCI Toronto Condovoice Magazine.

Pools, Patios, and Places to Connect

Condovoice features a different condominium community in every edition, showcasing the unique stories, leadership, and amenities that make each one special. As summer gets into full swing, we thought it would be the perfect time to revisit a few of our past Condo Profiles and highlight how thoughtfully designed amenities help create vibrant communities and enhance the resident experience.

When summer arrives, condominium amenities become more than convenient extras; they become extensions of residents' homes. Whether it's spending an afternoon by the pool, meeting neighbours at a community barbecue, or enjoying a peaceful garden, well-designed amenities help create vibrant communities and enhance quality of life.

As highlighted in past Condo Profile features, the best amenities are those that reflect the unique needs of a building's residents.

For communities like The Claridges, amenities are designed to support residents who have chosen to age in place. In addition to a lounge, library, gardens, and patio, residents have access to neighbouring Amica Bayview Village's indoor pool, fitness studio, and theatre. Combined with an active social calendar featuring weekly games, educational speakers, and volunteer groups, these spaces encourage connection, wellness, and independence throughout every season.

At Absolute World, a younger professional demographic enjoys amenities that support an active, social lifestyle. The condominium's impressive recreation centre includes indoor and outdoor pools, basketball and squash courts, a movie theatre, fitness facilities, guest suites, and steam rooms. Throughout the year— and especially during the summer—resident events such as barbecues, movie nights, and social gatherings make it easy for neighbours to connect without leaving the community.

For large condominium communities like The Pinnacle Centre, amenities rival those of a private resort. Residents can enjoy two barbecue areas, a 70-foot swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, a mini-golf course, screening rooms, business centres, fitness facilities, and beautifully connected outdoor spaces. During the warmer months, these amenities become gathering places for families, friends, and neighbours, while an online booking system ensures residents can easily access everything the community has to offer.

While swimming pools and rooftop terraces may be the first amenities that come to mind during the summer, the true value of condominium amenities lies in how they bring people together. Whether supporting active retirees, busy young professionals, or families looking to make the most of the season, thoughtfully managed amenities help transform a condominium from simply a place to live into a place to belong.
