Beware of the CAT on Friday the 13th

As of January 1, 2022, the Condominium Authority Tribunal can hear matters relating to “unreasonable nuisances, annoyances or disruptions”. This includes noise, odour, light, vibrations, smoke, and vapour. These types of complaints can be much more complicated than records requests or pet disputes, because they may require investigations and reports by experts to determine the causes and severity of the problems.
