Want to Learn More About the Condominium Community? Attend a Home Show!
It can be intimidating to approach condominium industry figures, such as real estate agents, property managers, or current owners, to get a sense of what it’s like living in a condominium community.
It can be intimidating to approach condominium industry figures, such as real estate agents, property managers, or current owners, to get a sense of what it’s like living in a condominium community.
Attending an event like the Lifestyle Home Show gives curious future condominium investors (whether as an occupant, or building owner) an opportunity to gather commitment-free insight.
Joining a condominium corporation can feel incredibly overwhelming from the outside. How different are each condominium’s rules? What should you expect within your first year of owning a condominium? What rights will you have as a homeowner?
CCI Grand River Chapter attended the Kitchener-Waterloo Home & Garden Show in late March, and we’d like to share some feedback our organizers felt would help the community understand why these shows are a great resource:

“It was relatively quiet for the first part, but more traffic as the morning went along. We had some condo owners/board members stop by, some already members of CCI and one a member of The Golden Horseshoe Chapter. We expressed the benefits of being part of CCI and had some great conversations with a Real Estate agent across the way who seemed interested in the prospect of considering being a member after providing some feedback to us on his condo sales experiences.“
